We are running morning & afternoon sessions for children on Monday, 14 April, and Thursday, 17 April.
Tuesday, 15 April is a special Karori Arts & Crafts Family-Friendly Day. Children should bring along their favourite adult (over 18). There is a morning & afternoon session to choose from.

Kumihimo- Japanese cord making

Kumihimo is the art of Japanese cord making. Decorative cords were traditionally used for kimono belt sites, ties on kinchaki bags and to decorate Japanese swords. Spend the afternoon making a Kumihimo disk. Learn to use a kumihimo disk to braid cords. You can use your one-of-a-kind cord to make friendship bracelets, keychains, decorative hoodie ties, hair ties, and more!
