Hire Rooms in the Karori Arts & Crafts Centre, or the entire Venue!
KACC is the perfect venue for arts and crafts activities, lectures, workshops, classes, and meetings. Located just 15 minutes from Central Wellington and on the Number 2 bus route, KACC is easy to reach from across Wellington. There is 2-hour free parking in the adjacent parking lot and free all-day parking on the street. The building is accessible, with a ramp at the entrance, a lift to the upper floors, and an accessible toilet. With ample natural light in all rooms, it is the perfect venue for arts and crafts activities.
All room hires come with access to the KACC Kitchen. The kitchen comes equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, a ZIP hot water tap, dishwasher, flatware, and dishes.
Main Room
The Main Room is our largest room. It has tables and chairs that are easy to move into several configurations. The room has easy access to the kitchen and toilets. The room has a divider and can be used as two separate rooms, Room 1 and Room 2.
Other features of the Main Room include:
- Tables and chairs to seat 26 to 50 depending on the room configuration
- Projector screen
- Large windows on both ends of the room, plus skylights, for beautiful natural lighting
- Large wash-up sink
- Extra-large specialty sink that can be used for dying, marbling, or felting

Room 1
Room 1 is the front half of the Main Room when the room divider is closed. Room 1 is close to the entrance and has 3 large bays of windows for great lighting. Room 1 also contains the window nook with 2 couches.

Room 2
Room 2 is the back half of the Main Room when the divider is closed. It is close to the kitchen and has 2 large windows with great lighting. Room 2 contains the sinks, the printing press, the projector screen, and has easy access to the Garden Room.

Garden Room
The Garden Room has doors that open out to the lovely KACC Garden area and has easy access to the kitchen and the toilets. Other features of the Garden Room include:
